Shirley R. Compton

Shirley Rosemary Compton was born August 29, 1930 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Roy & Myrtle (nee Atwell) Boly. She died on December 23, 2024 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis County, MO at the age of 94 years. She is survived by her son, Randy (Kay) Compton, Festus, MO; daughter, Kathy (Tim) Goodman, Festus, MO; grandsons, Tom (Jamie) Compton, Joe (Amanda) Goodman, Mark (Kim) Richardson; granddaughters, Vicky (Ray) Hartman, Amanda (Jason) Rees; fourteen great-grandchildren, Tommy R. Compton, Austin Compton, Madison Young, Gavin Grass, Max Richardson, Kylie Richardson, Carson Grass, Bekah Goodman, Gracie Young, Ava Grass, Riley Goodman; Reagan Goodman, Brody Rees and Chaley Rees; two sisters, Bonnie Lawson, Shawnee Mission, KS and Joanna Soles, St. Louis, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Russell Compton whom she married March 22, 1946; one son, Tom (Sandra) Compton; and many siblings.
