John Jay Hill was born in St. Louis on April 27, 1965. He died on July 18, 2024 at the Veterans Administration Hospital – Jefferson Barracks at the age of 59. He is survived by his mother Doris Gay Brooks, De Soto; four sisters: Jodi (Robert) Bruns, Festus, Tina Clark, Crystal City, Vicki (Byron) Surrell, Huntersville, NC and Libby (Jason) Brooks, De Soto; one brother Michael Brooks, De Soto and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
