Laura A. Capehart

Laura A. Capehart was born in St. Louis on January 5, 1946 a daughter to Samuel H and Louise (nee Burns) Crowe, Jr. She died at Mercy Hospital-Jefferson on July 15, 2024 at the age of 78.  She is survived by three daughters: Mandy (James) Kenuam, De Soto, Patty (Steve) Small, Imperial and Sherry (Kit) Clark, Baldwin City, KS; nine grandchildren: Kristen, Ben, Madison (Devin), Caleb (Chase), Aspen, Joshua (Sabrina), Matthew, Shelby and Carson; two great grandchildren: Olivia and Ryan; a sister Frances (Rees) Nickerson, Brandon, Florida and a brother Samuel Crowe, III, Caruthersville, Arkansas.  She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands: Paul Hahn and Lawrence Capehart; a sister Shirley May; a sister in law Bunny Crowe and a brother in law George May.  Laura had retired as a nurse and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to: ACPD, 5228 S.
