Dorothy Joan “Dottie” Kite was born January 25, 1931 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Lawerence and Lucille (nee Uland) Isbel. She died on July 10, 2024 at Stonebridge De Soto at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her son, Gerald “Jerry” (Mary) Kite, Hillsboro, MO; one sister, Ruth (Joe) Coleman, Holt Summit, MO and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Livengood, Valle Lake, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin E. Kite; her step-father, Woodrow Livengood; two sisters, Joyce (Harry) Wideman; Thelma (Bob) Blum; and a brother, Woodrow Jack Livengood.
