Rita Catherine White Boeving

Rita Catherine Boeving was born November 20, 1943 in Bonne Terre, MO.  She was the daughter of Leroy & Mary (nee Maciejewski) White.  She died on October 23, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 79.

Rita is survived by her children, Renee Walker of Granite City, IL; Robert Jr. “Bobby” (Heidi) Boeving of Festus; Richard (Denise) Boeving of De Soto; and Ryan (Dawn) Boeving of De Soto; 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (the late Don) Kozloski, Elaine (Conrad) Stromberg; Martha (Gary) Brune, Gloria (the late Chuck) Curneal; and Doris (the late Allen) Shearin.

In addition to her parents Rita was preceded in death by her husband Robert Boeving, Sr., and siblings, Rosemary White, Delores Salisbury, Margaret Lindsey, Edward (Annabelle) White, and Richard (Melba) White.

Rita enjoyed spending time with her family, playing with her grand and great grandbabies, watching her hummingbirds, searching for mushrooms, taking long walks in the woods and gardening.
