Julie Ann Weaver

Julie Ann Weaver, 61, of Henderson, Nev., formerly of De Soto died February 3, 2023, in Henderson, Nev.  Ms. Weaver was a 1979 De Soto High School graduate and a retired teacher. She was a Christian. Born April 1, 1961, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Marcella (Vaughn) and Waverly Weaver, Jr.  She is survived by three children: Tajuana (William) Cherry of Oceanside, Calif., James Cherry of Henderson, Nev., and Adrienne Cadmey of Henderson, Nev.; four siblings: Clarence Mason of Florida, Phillip (Peggy) Weaver of Columbia, S.C., Mark (Sharon) Weaver of De Soto and Kevin (Susan) Weaver of Arnold; and a grandchild: Lamont Cherry of Henderson, Nev.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 24, at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from the Dietrich-Mothershead Chapel officiated by Bishop Ronald Luellen.  Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, De Soto, followed immediately with a gathering at the De Soto Community Center, 400 Boyd St., De Soto, MO.
