Joyce Ann Laratta was born on June 20, 1958 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Charlotte (nee Kite) Laratta of De Soto and the late William Laratta. She died on December 28, 2022 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, Missouri at the age of 64. In addition to her mother, Joyce is also survived by her sister Susan (the late Donald A.) Chandler of De Soto; a niece, Angela (Nathan) Denman of Alaska; and a great niece, Nevaeh; aunts, Georgetta (the late Chad) Thompson of De Soto; and Ethel (the late William) Wilson of De Soto; cousins, Stella, Natasha, Niko and other cousins. Joyce was preceded in death by her father, William, her grandparents, Earl & Lucy Kite; an aunt Cora (David) Hamman and uncles, Edgar Kite and Luther Kite.
