Daniel Lee Whitt, Sr. was born on June 1, 1950 in St. Louis, MO.  He was the son of Albert Hoyt & Velma E. (nee Bohrman) Whitt.  He died on November 2, 2021 at the de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis County, MO at the age of 71.

He is survived by his children, Angie (George) Davis of Bullhead City, AZ; Amanda (Beau) Govero of Blackwell, MO; and Daniel (Michelle Charest) Whitt, Jr. of Blackwell, MO; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Rhea (the late John) Bailey of Pilot Knob, MO and brother, Bill (April) Whitt of Hillsboro, MO; sister-in-law, Betty (John) Starr of St. Peters, MO; and brother-in-law, Gary Bequette of Festus, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Dianne Marie (nee Bequette) Whitt.

He was a dockhand for Preston Trucking and a member of Teamsters Local #600.
