Iris Gail Spain was born on May 13, 1942 in Arnold a daughter to Leslie Spain and Maxine (nee Duke) Spain Rodgers. She died on September 29, 2021 at Hillcrest Care Center at the age of 79. A graduate of Harris Stowe College Iris was a music teacher in the Hazelwood School District. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and attended Rose of Sharon Church. She is survived by one sister: Joan Brockes, De Soto and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Shirley Joyce Heibel and Nancy Ann Williams.
