Joseph Wilford Boyer was born on October 23, 1927 in Kingston, MO. He was the son of Herman Francis & Philaman “Mary” (nee Missey) Boyer. He died on February 10, 2021 at the age of 93.
He is survived by his wife Edna (nee Davis) Boyer of Blackwell; step-son, Dwight “Jack” Davis of De Soto; sons, Joseph Douglas (Nancy) Boyer of Blackwell; and Curtis Boyer of Blackwell; 4 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Wilford was retired from General Motors and served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter-in-law, Terry Davis; and two siblings, Thomas Leroy Boyer and Theresa Loretta Boyer.
