Benno Morris Hoelzel was born in Bonne Terre on January 24, 1928 a son to Helmuth and Maude (nee Holdman) Hoelzel. He died a Baisch Nursing Center on February 4, 2021 at the age of 93. He is survived by two brothers: Lindell “Pete” (Jean) Hoelzel, De Soto and Charles Hoelzel, De Soto; a nephew Steven (Deborah) Hoelzel, Glen Carbon, IL and four nieces: Margie (Doug) Urban, De Soto, Joy (Scott) Graves, De Soto, Jan (Stan) Fauth, De Soto, Marilyn (Don) Hamilton, Bowling Green, and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law Norma Hoelzel. Benno was a farmer. | |
