Charles Michael Brotherton

Charles Michael “Mike” Brotherton was born July 31, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Charles Franklin and Dorothy E. (nee McKinnis) Brotherton. He died on August 23, 2020 in Hillsboro, MO at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (nee Cavanaugh) Brotherton, Hillsboro, MO; children, Marialana (Tim) Speidel, Hillsboro, MO; Tanya (Mark) Stoll, Festus, MO; Larry Brotherton, Hillsboro, MO; Kevin (Paola) Brotherton, Meridian, ID; Darin (Christy) Brotherton, Wildwood, MO; and Jaimie (Jason) Stockbarger, Festus, MO; one brother, Keith Brotherton, CO; one sister, Jennifer (Rick) Dickinson, McKinney, TX; half-sister, Nadra Brotherton, Mt. Home, AR; and a sister-in-law, Louise Brotherton, Festus, MO; grandchildren, Saeley, Isaac, Thomas, Samuel, Brendan, Cara, Anna, Alexandria, Ava, and Grant. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Larry Brotherton; and one sister, Barbara Brotherton. Mike retired from TWA, taught flying at Festus Flying Service; and served in the U.S. Navy.
