Winona L. Jung was born November 14, 1937 in Pana, IL. She was the daughter of Reuben W. and Elizabeth (nee Schoen) Cole. She died on May 17, 2020 at her residence in De Soto, MO. She is survived by her husband, Gerald R. Jung, De Soto, MO ; two sons, Eric (Rachel) Jung, Festus, MO and Kevin (Stacy Linderer) Jung, Ste. Genevieve, MO; one brother, Richard (Judy) Cole, Centralia, IL; grandchildren, Christopher and Matthew Jung, Keri (Travis) Essmyer, Mikah (Corey) Brackett, David Eads, Alyssa (Rodney) Edmundson, and David Jung; and one great-granddaughter, Caroline Barckett. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Vaughn; one infant sister and an infant brother. Winona was a member of the Gateway 2 Cylinder Club; St. Rose Quilters; Jefferson County Victims Services Volunteer; she also enjoyed sewing, crafting, and she worked with her husband in the restoration of tractors. | |
