Phyllis J. Smith

Phyllis J. Smith was born in St. Louis on September 23, 1949 a daughter to Roy and Ruby (nee Clifton) Proud. She died at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto on September 16, 2017 at the age of 67. She is survived by two daughters: Nona (Mark) Mickey, Irmo, SC and Kimberly (Chris) Burnett, Beavercreek, OH; one son: Rev. Gene (Kristi) Smith, De Soto; seven grandchildren: Emily, Josh, Isaac, Haley, Allison, Amanda, and Danielle; and one sister: Betty Fitts, Imperial, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Sharon Sheppard and Maxine Proud; and one brother: Tommy Proud.
Rev. Dr. Jeremy Muniz will officiate the memorial service.
