Virginia M. Hicks Detter

Virginia May Detter was born August 24, 1951 in Park Hills, MO. She was the daughter of Raymond I. and Jean Patricia (nee Graves) Hicks. She passed on May 1, 2017 at Country Meadows in Park Hills, MO at the age of 65 years. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Detter, De Soto, MO; one son, Anthony J. (Mabel) Detter, Pacific, MO; siblings, Carol (Gary) McDonald, Alpine, TN; Elizabeth (Gary) Boyster, Farmington, MO; John (Sue) Hicks, Cadet, MO; Albert Hicks, Cadet, MO; Raymond (Pam) Hicks, Cadet, MO; and Paul Hicks, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Taylor, Brenden, and Jacob; and sisters-in-law, Elaine Hicks, De Soto, MO and Patty Hicks, Desloge, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James and Dennis Hicks. Virginia worked as a communication tech at A T & T. As an expression of sympathy memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or The Humane Society.
