Bernard F. "Ben" Koester, Jr.

Bernard Frank “Ben” Koester, Jr. was born October 6, 1929 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Bernard Frank Sr. and Clara Lucille (nee Gamble) Koester. He passed on April 28, 2017 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his children, Marie (Scott) Wilcox, Hobbs, NM; Loretta Wisner, De Soto, MO; Madonna Sansoucie, Richwoods, MO; John (Denise) Koester, Richwoods, MO; siblings, Theresa (Joe) Randazzo, Arnold, MO; William (Nona) Peterson, Dupo, IL; Barbara (Ron) McClenning, Bland, MO; Jack (Cindy) Peterson, Belleville, IL; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Therese Marie (nee Maye) Koester; and one son, Steven Koester. Ben was a repairmen for Laclede Gas Company and worked for several years at Hamel & Rowe Hardware Store.  As an expression of sympathy memorials to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
