Dominic Schutte, Jr.

Dominic “Don” Schutte, Jr. was born November 7, 1926 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Dominic Sr. and Oleta Mary (nee Cissell) Schutte . He passed on March 2, 2017 at his residence in Hillsboro, MO at the age of 90. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Nora (McMullin) Schutte, Hillsboro, MO; children, Larry (Karen) Schutte, St. Charles, MO; Gary (Lou Anne) Schutte, De Soto, MO; Donna M. (Mike) Mitchell, De Soto, MO; Ronald (Sujata) Schutte, Imperial, MO; and Janet (Scott Dietrich) Wann, Imperial, MO; two brothers,  Herman “Dutch” (Rosemary) Koch, De Soto, MO and Charles (Dorothy) Koch, De Soto, MO; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; foster parents, Joseph & Lizzie Koch; one brother, Anthony “Bob” (Cleta) Schutte. He worked as a machinist for McDonnell Douglas and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Don was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church and the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers Local #837.
