Marie Elizabeth O’Brien was born October 13, 1927 in Hillsboro, MO. She was the daughter of George and Josephine (nee DeRuntz) Heiland. She passed on January 14, 2017 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her husband, William J. O’Brien, De Soto, MO; children, Gary O’Brien, De Soto, MO; Terry Hayes, De Soto, MO; one sister, Betty (the late Adolph) Gillman, Cedar Hill, MO; grandchildren, Michelle (Karl Jr.) Walker, De Soto, MO; and John (Karen) Hayes, De Soto, MO; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Derek, Megan, Hunter, Kylie, Erica, and Emily.
