Barbara Steinmetz

Barbara Ann Steinmetz was born October 1, 1956 in Bonne Terre, MO. She was the daughter of Kenneth C. and Mary Jane (nee Ingels) Tourville of De Soto, MO. She died on January 27, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus, MO at the age of 57 years. She is survived by her husband of 25 years: Steve Steinmetz, De Soto, MO; two sons, Josh (Kelly) Steinmetz, Affton, MO; and Kirk (Megan) Steinmetz, De Soto, MO; one grandson Dylan Steinmetz; one brother, Tim (Cathy) Tourville, De Soto, MO; one sister, Julie (Allen) Davis, De Soto, MO. Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church- De Soto and P.E.O. Chapter IX. She taught at Vineland School and served as the piano accompianist for many of the school and other choirs. She was an author of a book called Hope . With her husband she also owned and operated Steinmetz Vending.
