Viv and I go back a long way. She and Bob stood up for me husband and I on our wedding day. I have been gone from De Soto for a long time and by happenstance will be in De Soto Fri for the viewing. Kathy and Ken, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. When I learn of someone's loss my heart goes out to them. We know it comes to all, but death still is so hard to accept, and that is because we aren't supposed to. God really didn't mean for anyone to die, in fact he wants everybody to not die. But since Adam brought it about he does promise that he will undo death and Jesus will resurrect them and reunite them with us "on the last day" as Lazarus' sister said to Jesus (verse 24 of John 11:11-44) That account in the Bible has so much comfort to offer us. We get a glimpse of the joy you will have when you are reunited with Vivian. Until that time may the peace of Jehovah God soothe your sad hearts until he gives Jesus the signal to begin bringing your family together again. Let your hearts not be troubled.
