Also pictured is my brother, Frank Fuchs (died 12-23-2015). Virkay & I worked together at Convergys & we (my husband Alan Metzler & I - Barb Metzler) transferred from SSG with Virkay in May/June 2007 to the Daimler Chrysler Project. During that time we became better friends, and later around Spring 2009, she began dating my brother. Their relationship did not affect our friendship in the least. We would frequently come to her home in Desoto and swim in her pool. Many of us got together & had a slumber party on her 55th Birthday in 2007. So many memories & so much fun. . .Virkay had an exciting personality and always brought fun with her. . .wherever she was (although, if you were extremely fortunate. . .you got to know the other side of her. . .that was quite different from the personality she shared with only a few)t I was one of those fortunate few that knew the real Virkay and we were almost like sisters. I counted myself fortunate to know her that well. I had the pleasure of meeting several of her grandchildren that lived with Virkay. Emma is the baby in this photograph, and we would take her with us on several occasions when we would take Virkay out to lunch at several of the restaurants in Desoto. One afternoon we went to a 'Fish-Style' Restaurant and Virkay spent most of the meal answering questions about fish that a 7 or 8 year old Emma asked . . .she was so sweet with Emma & answered all of her questions; almost as though Emma was one of her own. We shared a great deal of love during our friendship and I believe someday; we will be together again! Alan, Emma (now 10) & I send our love & condolences to her family! ;-}
