Virginia H. Berry was born on February 14, 1934 in Hinsdale, IL. She was the daughter of William A. and Pearl (nee Baer) Hadfield. She died on July 8, 2020 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, MO.
She is survived by her dear husband, David T. Berry of De Soto, MO; her children, Deborah (Ron) Gasaway of De Soto, MO; Susan (Rick) Law of Ballwin, MO; Linda (Darin) Cushing of Treasure Island, FL; Samuel (Johanna) Berry of Lowell, MA; Karen (Edward) Stuteville of De Soto, MO; and David Joseph (Suzie) Berry of Mililani, HI; one sister, Suzanne Semsch of Albuquerque, NM; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Joanie Hadfield.
Jinny was a member of the De Soto Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses along with her immediate family. She was known as a kind, caring wife, mother, and friend who always shared principles for living that encouraged everyone. She showed great faith in the resurrection hope when there will no longer be obituary columns to bring sadness but rather announcements of joy earth wide as friends and family come back to life to join their loved ones again. Memorial Service will be determined at a later date.
