Virginia Claudine Goff was born November 29, 1917 in Water Valley, MS a daughter to Lilly Pearl (nee Low) and Walter Barton, Sr. She died August 1, 2014 at the Charlevoix Health Care Center in St. Charles at the age of 96. She is survived by one daughter: Kathy (Doug) Dietz, Crystal City; one son: James R. “Russ” (Jane) Goff, St. Louis; five grandchildren: Kelly, Michael, Heather, Jennifer “Buffy”, and Melissa; eleven great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Mina Lee Hooker and Margie Keeney. She is preceed in death by her parents; her husband: Russell Goff; one sister: Pauline Dyroff and one brother Walter Barton Jr.
