Verna Marie Cooper was born December 2, 1917, in Ware, MO, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Cora (nee Whitworth) Pillen. She passed away June 26, 2009, in De Soto, MO, at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 24 days.
She is survived by her husband, Clifton W. “Cliff” Cooper and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Williams & Estes Hopson; and four brothers: Edwin Pillen, Frank Pillen, Jr., Clyde Pillen, & Ross Pillen.
