Venita Jane Haverstick was born October 12, 1930 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Sloman and Josephine (nee Boos) Evans. She died on May 4, 2022 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 91 years. She is survived by three nieces: Diana (Raymond) Jones, Robin (Don) Patton and Patti (Tim) Abney and three nephews: William “Bill” (Sherri) Young, III, Timothy (Colette) Evans and Tom (Gina) Evans as well as great and great great nieces and nephews and her brother in law John Haverstick and his wife Laura and their family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Howard “Stick” Haverstick; two sisters: Grace Young and her husband William Young, Jr. and Lillian Wideman and her husband Don Wideman, Sr.; a brother James Evans and his wife Margie Evans and a nephew Don Wideman, II whose wife Carol Wideman survives.
