I attended St. Rose of Lima School in the 4th grade at the age of nine. I remember walking past the Ganninger residence with Charlie Wall and talking to the kids there. I was told that the Ganninger kids were my cousins. Well, I moved back to St. Louis after one year at St. Rose. Sixty years went by and my wife and I decided to visit the Ganninger family not knowing that Ursula was the only one still in Desoto. We had a wonderful visit with her. She was a character. I called her and sent Christmas cards a few times since then. I wish I could be there now for the services.
