Thomas Moore Sander was born on August 7, 1938 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Virgil Grey Sr. and Gertrude (nee Harris) Gibson Sanders. He died on May 2, 2016 in Hoschton, GA at the age of 77.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Maria (nee Matrai) Sanders of Hoschton, GA; his children, Michael Grey (Dawn) Sanders of High Pointe, NC, and Thomas Christopher Sanders of Cincinnati, OH; siblings, Larry (Vicki) Sanders of De Soto, MO, Terry (Margaret) Sanders of Bloomsdale, MO, Richard Sanders of De Soto, MO, Jane Ellen Schoults of De Soto, MO, Pauline (Steve) Seidl of Farmington, MO; and two grandchildren, Shelby Anne Sanders of High Pointe, NC, and Cullan Sanders of Cincinnati, OH.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Susan Lynne (nee Sanders) Lee; one brother, Virgil Grey Sanders, Jr.; and two sisters, Mary Alice (nee Sanders) Donohue and Judith Ann Sanders(infant twin of Jane Ellen).
Tom was a graduate of DHS Class of 1956. He served Missouri National Guard from 1955 until 1961.
