- Service: Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:00 am at the First Free Will Baptist Church officiated by Bro. Bob Thebeau
- Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, De Soto
Seth Aaron Chapman was born in St. Louis on April 3, 1979 a son to Alan and LaDonna (nee Carey) Chapman. He died in De Soto on December 5, 2020 at the age of 41. Seth loved Christmas, chocolate, ice cream and cheesecake. He enjoyed music, camping, swimming, being outdoors, rollar coasters, and scary movies. He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Star Wars. Most of all Seth loved his wife, children, parents and being with his family, joking with them and making them laugh. He is survived by his parents who live in De Soto; his wife Gloria (nee Rios) Chapman, De Soto; two daughters: Savannah Chapman, De Soto and Autumn Chapman, Festus; one son Nolan Chapman, De Soto; his granddaughter Artemis Chapman; one sister Angela (Albert) Nestler, Leavenworth, KS; two brothers Scott Chapman, De Soto and Shane Chapman, De Soto; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents William, Sr. and Irene Chapman and Theodore and Francis Carey; two uncles: William Chapman, Jr. and Ronald Carey and one aunt Edna Carey Wells.
