Selma Blanch Bakewell was born on May 22, 1912 in De Soto, Missouri. She was the daughter of Robert and Hazel (Nee Jarvis) Brady. She died on March 2, 2009 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, Missouri at the age of 96.
She is survived by three sons, Michael (Ketrina) Bakewell of Creve Couer, MO; Richard (Nancy) Bakewell, Memphis, TN; amd Joseph (Anna Louann Williams) Bakewell of Paris, TX; and one daughter Barbara (Glen) Stark of Ontario, Calf., Sister-in-law Becky Brady of De Soto, MO; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents;one sister, Elizabeth Rowland; and four brothers, Vernon, Glenn, Robert, and Howard Brady.
