Rosemary B. Koch was born in St. Louis on September 25, 1930 a daughter to William A. and Katherine (nee Miller) Burke. She died on September 17, 2022 at Mercy Hospital-Jefferson at the age of 91. She is survived by her husband of 70 years Herman J. “Dutch” Koch, De Soto; two daughters: Sharon Ann (the late Jim) Koch McKee, Muskogee, OK and Sandra Marie (Darick) Koch James, De Soto; three grandchildren: Jeffery McKee, Kathryn McKee and Jason McKee; seven great grandchildren: Gatlan Nail, Trinity Nail, Ava McKee, Raegan McKee, Marlee Dell, Ava Carlson and Stella McKee and one brother Walter L. “Green Eyes” Burke. She is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters: Dorothy Gibbons Cawalendar, Katherine Gibbons Thompson, Lorene Gibbons Hawn and Evelyn Burke and two brothers: William Burke and James Gibbons. She had taught for  the De Soto and Kingston School Districts and for St. Rose of Lima Catholic School. Rosemary was a very active member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church having served as a Eucharistic Minister both at church and visiting Nursing Homes and Shut-ins and as a member of Daughters of Isabella Circle #659. She was also a member of AmVets Post #48 Auxiliary, Biv Wackers Campers Club and a member and had served as President of the Jefferson County Squares.
