Rosalie Jean Swanson was born January 9, 1936 in Silex. She died at Mercy Hospital-St. Louis on January 13, 2018 at the age of 82. She is survived by six daughters: Debbie (Marie Long) Swanson, Edwardsville, IL, Cindy (Terry) Aubuchon, St. Louis, Lynne (former husband, the late David) Cunningham, Farmington, Linda (Steve) Banton, Wildwood, Pam (Kevin) Lee, De Soto, and Janet (Greg) Enzmann, Bonne Terre; fifteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother: Margaret Gittemeier and one son: Ronnie Swanson. She also held very close to her heart the family of Catherine Creason including a son Charlie Creason and a daughter Barb Uptegrove all now deceased and a son George Creason who live in Elsberry. Rosalie worked as a nurses aid and cook at Hillview Nursing Home and later at Pony Bird where she was a special caregiver to Tarina Stetler.
