Rick Goewert was born on March 11, 1956 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Richard and Madeline (Wiese) Goewert. He died on March 18, 2013 at Jefferson Regional Medical center in Crystal City, MO at the age of 57.
He is survived by his wife Patty Goewert of Festus; five children, Chana (Rob) Starrett of Wentzville, MO; Angie (Brent) Winchell of St. Charles, MO; Crystal Pieper of Hillsboro, MO; Carrie (Jay VanWinkle) Goewert of Hazelwood, MO; and Candace (Juan Juarez) McConnell of Kansas City, Kansas; grandchildren, Savannah, Dante, Sydney, Dominic, Skylar, Mackenzi, Sarah, Alyssa, Blake, Shane, Brayden, & Aubrey; siblings, Gail (Jim) McHugh of Florissant, MO; Pam (Dan) Rademeyer of St. Charles, MO; Nancy Orlando of Florissant, MO; Mary Beth (Rodney) Gillham of Florissant, MO; John (Kim) Drennen of De Soto, MO; and Chris (Jeri) Drennen of Potosi, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one infant son, Richie Goewert.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Comtrea for the APS-PSR Program.
Memorial Gathering with Luncheon at the Comtrea Annex on Friday March 22, 2013 12-3 PM. Lunch will be served at 1 PM.
Rick donated his body to the St. Louis University School of Medicine.
