Richard Lee Edelman was born June 2, 1950 in Cottage Farms, MO. He was the son of George J. and Alice (nee Johnson) Edelman. He died on August 20, 2019 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 69 years. He is survived by his siblings, Tina Francis, De Soto, MO; Carol (Larry) Micke, De Soto, MO; Thomas (Brenda) Edelman, Festus, MO; and Sandy (Lance) Heutel, De Soto, MO; six nieces; six nephews; ten great-nieces; two great-nephews; four great-great nieces; and three great-great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Shirley (Albert) Debes; brothers-in-law, Kevin Francis and John Ketcherside. Richard was a small engine repairman.
