Ralph P. Jones was born August 23, 1924 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Albert and Anna (nee Schobernd) Jones. He passed on May 26, 2017 at his residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his children, Dale (Karen) Jones, Pevely, MO; Kimberly (John) Zensen, Imperial, MO; Robyn (Bart) McKinney, Hillsboro, MO; Tracy (Ginger) Jones, De Soto, MO: Trudy (Myron) Johnson, De Soto, MO; Scott (Cathy) Jones, Festus, MO; Laurie (Mike) Minicky, Festus, MO; and Drew Jones, Hillsboro, MO; one sister, Delores “Tootsie” (the late Gus) Stergion, St. Louis, MO; 23 Grandchildren; and 22 Great-Grandchildren; and his dear friends Dolores Kottkamp and Ray Berry. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Bernice E. (nee Thomure) Jones. Ralph was a Retired Battalion Chief Firefighter for St. Louis City. He was an avid trap shooter and a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, De Soto, MO. As an expression of sympathy memorials to Backstoppers, Vitas Hospice, or masses.
