Phyllis was a very special person. When we moved to the farm "up the hill" from Phyllis and her family we all became good friends right away. Us kids especially remember Phyllis as our favorite babysitter. We were always happy to see her and had a great time with her. Phyllis and her family have been very special friends for many years. We send our Christian love to you Hazel, Wesley and David in your loss and our loss of a wonderful friend and neighbor.

Phyllis was my neighbor, my mentor and my friend. She lived across the street and we would enjoy visits in the front yard. Her generous spirit and willingness to share her knowledge was a blessing to me when my kids were young and my days were busy. Her creative talents amazed me. I have somthing for each Holiday that she made to decorate my home, I will treasure these items and memories. Although her life was not as long as some, she lived a full and active life. I am thankful and blessed to have known her.

Phyllis was a very sweet lady and will truly be missed by all who knew her. She was my step brothers wife... And she treated me like her own brother. I am sorry for the family but I am really sorry for her husband, David. He is the kind of guy everyone wants in there family. He loved his wife with all his heart and they enjoyed the life they had with each other. David, I'm so sorry it was cut short. Sincerely, your brother David Spence
