Patrick Andrew Tharp was born December 6, 1945 in St. Louis City, MO. He was the son of the late Vernon Tharp and Opal (nee Weil) Tharp of Oakville, MO. He passed on February 19, 2017 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his mother, his children, Vernon (Kristin) Coleman, Fletcher, MO; Nick (Kayla) Tharp, De Soto, MO, Joe (Cassie) Tharp, Hillsboro, MO, and Darla Shedron, Salt Lake City, UT; siblings, Carol (Ron) Mund, Conroe, TX, Jan (Angel) Tharp, Florissant, MO; Beth Tharp, Oakville, MO,  Tim Tharp, Barnhart, MO, and Debbie (Thom) Reed, Festus, MO. Patrick was also a grandfather.  He is preceded in death by his father and one brother, Charlie Tharp. Patrick served in the U.S. Army.  His inurnment will be held at a later date at the National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, MO.
