She is survived by her children, Wayne (Kathy) Hawkins, De Soto, MO, Dennis (Paula) Hawkins, De Soto, MO, and Dale (Sandy) Hawkins, De Soto, MO; sister, Mildred Hawkins, De Soto, MO; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David P. Hawkins; siblings, Vester, Edgar, Renick, Harold, Lester, and Ernest Sohn; Garrie Simpson, and Bertha Thurman. Ora was a member of Landmark Baptist Church, De Soto, MO.
