Norman Lee Henry was born in De Soto on July 31, 1940 a son to Wintha and Verna (nee Valle) Henry. He died at Missouri Baptist Medical Center on July 25, 2020 at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife of nearly sixty years Jean (nee Wideman) Henry, De Soto; two sons: Greg Henry, De Soto and Mike (Sarah) Henry, De Soto; three grandchildren: Meghan (Alex) Heffron, Nathan (Justine Harbison) Henry, and Colby Henry; and two brothers: Doug (Bev) Henry, De Soto, and Richard Henry, De Soto. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law: Robin Leas Henry. After retiring from the Sears Store in De Soto Norman worked for nearly twenty years for the Sunrise School District in various capacities including as a bus driver and in the maintenance department. He was a faithful member of the Primrose Baptist Church and also a member of Blackwell Lodge #535 A.F. & A.M.
