Norman E. Johnson was born April 7, 1925 in De Soto, MO.  He died June 2, 2010 at the Crystal Oaks Care Center at the age of 85.  He is survived by one son Michael (Rhonda) Johnson of Crystal City; two grandchildren Stephanie (Matt) Whitehead, of Fulton and Scott Johnson of Crystal City; one great granddaughter Lauren Grace Whitehead of Fulton; and a dear friend Murna Evans of Festus; He is preceded in death by his mother Mamie (Nunn) Johnson Partney; his wife Wanda (Garrett) Johnson; a granddaughter Lauren Johnson; and  siblings Walter (wife Ethel survives) Johnson, Agnes Herrell, Dorothy DeClue; Joe Johnson, Charles “Jack” (wife Roberta survives) Johnson, and Richard Tackett.  Mr. Johnson was a mechanic for Bob Lewis Oldsmobile, served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and a member of the De Soto Christian Church.  Oliver Shoults will officiate the service
