Norman Gerald Brown was born July 19, 1945 in Hartshorn, MO. He was the son of George Washington and Arvillia (nee Edgmond) Brown. He died on February 1, 2016 at Baisch Nursing Center in De Soto, MO at the age of 70 years. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Ann (nee Viehmann) Jepsen Brown, De Soto, MO: two daughters, Janet Lee (Rob) Hahn, Bonne Terre, MO, Melissa Anne (Herb) Hahn, De Soto, MO; two son, John Jepsen, Jr., De Soto, MO; and Matthew Jepsen, City of St. John, MO; siblings, Thelma Briggs, Hartshorn, MO, Fern Boland, Overland, MO, Earl (Beverly) Brown, Littleton, CO, James Everett Brown, Bland, MO; Lonnie Brown, Cuba, MO; Clifford Brown, Salem, MO; grandchildren, Samantha Porter, Jared Hahn, Travis Hahn, Amanda Jepsen, and Krystal Jepsen; one great-grandson, Jaxson Hahn; a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marjorie Heiney and Judy Meekins; brothers, Kenneth, Denver, Ervin, and Stanley Brown; brothers-in-law, Aubrey Briggs, Jerry Boland, and Don Heiney; and one sister-in-law, Alice Wise. Norman worked as a welder for Wagner Electric Co until they closed, he then worked for his brother, James Brown rehabbing houses in St. Louis, MO. He ended his working career at the Kirk of the Hills Church in Ladue, MO where he faithfully served the Lord he loved. Norman was a member of the First Baptist Church of De Soto.
