She died on September 17, 2007 at her home in De Soto, MO.
She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Shanks of De Soto, MO; eleven children, David (Roxanne) Shanks of St. Louis, MO, Cynthia (Martin) Higgins of De Soto, MO, Michael (Suzanne) Shanks of De Soto, MO, Catherine Shanks Bequette of De Soto, MO, Jeffrey (Victoria) Shanks of De Soto, MO, Jennifer (Michael Sternard) Shanks of De Soto, MO, Meagan Shanks of De Soto, MO, Stephanie Shanks of De Soto, MO, Andrew Shanks of De Soto, MO, Madeleine Shanks of De Soto, MO, Samuel Shanks of De Soto, MO; nephew, Dan Geogevitch; and fourteen grandchildren, Bryant, Colby, Erika, Garrett, Ashley, Caitlyn, Abigail, Clinton, Wyatt, Charles, Adaline, Colton, Wyatt, and Sam.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Jeffrey Williams.
