N. Erlene Leonard was born on February 19, 1935 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Jesse Hoyt and Gladys (Hiatt) Hutching. She died on April 23, 2014 at Scenic Nursing and Rehab in Herculaneum, MO at the age of 79 years.
She is survived by her son, Gerald Hoyt of Richwoods, MO; granddaughter, Sarah (Steve Grunow) Hoyt of De Soto; great-granddaughter, Brelynn Grunow; sister, Alto (Norvel) Valle of Richwoods; brother, Jesse (Jean) Hoyt of De Soto; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Leonard; sisters, Dora Vance and Marie Supinski; and brother, Edward Sheets.
Erlene was a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ. Rev. Carleton Norton will officiate the service.
