Dear Friends, Just wanted you to know that you, along with your family, some far from home, have been in our prayers. Sometimes it's very difficult to figure out God's "timing" in such events as a loved one being promoted to glory. But as I was reminded just recently, one thing that God never says (can you guess what that is? - one word in our English language) --- "opps!" John said of Jesus in his gospel, 13:3 that "Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God..." The conversation that follows shortly thereafter speaks of peace and its source. When God plants deeply in our hearts that same truth - that we know from whence we have come (God gave us life) and to Whom and where we are going (His gift of eternal life) we can grasp the significance of those words of Jesus when He said to His disciples "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me..." May those words ring ever the more real in your hearts and minds as heaven becomes all the more reality for all of us.
