He is survived by his wife, Juanita (Barrett) Wilson, De Soto, MO; one son, Jim (Dianne) Wilson, Fletcher, MO; two daughters, Lisa (Mike) Carmack, De Soto, MO and Keena (Lindell) Byron, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Clayton Wilson, Brooke Wilson, Jason (Kristen) Carmack, Robert (Sara) Carmack, Jaclyn (Matt) Keller, Daniel (Tiffany) Byron, April Byron, and Amy Byron; great-grandchildren, Mason, Carson, Sophia, Haley, Mackenzi, Wade, Brice, and Jake; one brother, Robert (Marilyn) Wilson, Cuba, MO. Monte served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a construction supervisor and a member of Carpenters Local #92..
