Mildred Lucille Stanton was born on December 31, 1926 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Ulysses and Anna Mae (nee Reiter) Calvert. She died on October 17, 2012 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center at the age of 85 years 9 months 17 days. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Phillip Stanton, Jr., De Soto, MO; one son, Phillip (Debbie) Stanton, III, Cedar Park, TX; one daughter, Deborah Lipe, Festus, MO; one brother, Edward (Faye) Givens, Munhall, PA; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Arthur Givens and one sister, Dorothy Smid. Mildred was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, De Soto, MO; AmVets Auxiliary Post #48; American Legion Post #253 Auxiliary; and a volunteer at Jefferson Barracks Chaplins office.
