We can not express our sadness on Mel's passing. We enjoyed visiting with him and watching him come in from fishing with all the Crappie anyone could possibly catch! The lake will not be the same..our hearts go out to Mel's family.

Hi Paw Paw...I miss you so much already, I still can't believe you're gone! This feels like a terrible dream that I can't wake up from. We love you so much and know that you're in a better place. So many great memories from the lake! We will miss his friendly face next door and watching the grandpas work on stuff together! Nathan already misses his fishing advice! Lots of love coming to all of you from Oklahoma!

I said this to Shonda earlier but it goes to all of Kinky's girls.
I am so sad that you are going through this, but I also know with every fiber of my soul you will make it because you are surrounded by a community that loves you and your entire family. But when you feel sad, when you have quiet time alone.....Know that your Daddy raised you, and taught you, and loved you to be the strong, silly, loving, kind hearted girls that you are. He was preparing you your whole life to deal with difficult times, and I know you will ALWAYS make him proud. Love You All!!

My dad always introduced me as his daughter from his first marriage. Well, he was only married once to my mom! So I'm his daughter by his first and only marriage! Luv ya bunches, dad! I will see you again!!
