Melba Louise Wigger was born April 27, 1934 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Leo William and Louise (nee DePriest) Hogan. She passed on March 27, 2021 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 86. She was survived by her brother, Don (Lee Ellen) Hogan, Festus, MO; and two grandchildren, Holly Boyer, Festus, MO and Brenden Boyer, Hillsboro, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kennith W. Wigger; children, Angela Louise (Dwayne) Boyer and Kendyl Becker; brothers, Bob (Betty) Hogan and William L. “Dub” (Glenda) Hogan. Melba was a member of the First Baptist Church, De Soto, MO. She worked as a secretary at the De Soto Shoe Factory; and she was also a talented artist and after retirement she opened a studio to teach oil painting classes and continued to be involved with a variety of crafts. Melba loved time out with her special friends and family.
