Marvin Keith Heffron was born in De Soto on July 4, 1926 a son to James Warren and Bessie Tansley (nee Page) Heffron. He died at Foutainbleau Nursing Center in Crystal City at the age of 95. Marvin served in the United States Navy during World War II. He had retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad and as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He is survived by his four children: Beverly (Mark) Wilson, De Soto, Barbara Heffron, De Soto, Karen Lynn, Festus and Rodger (Sherry) Heffron, Crystal City, twelve grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty (nee Baisch) Heffron and nine siblings: Lena (M.C.) Meyers, James (Violet) Heffron, Bertha (M.C.) Meyers, Willard (Alma) Heffron, Gladys (Leo) Beckham, Winnie (Ray) Bradford, Mamie (William) Dreger, Luther (Fran) Heffron and Dorothy (Joe) Pierce.
