Martin Krewson
October 23, 1911 - January 27, 2012
Martin Wm. “Marty” Krewson, Sr. was born October 28, 1911 a son to Henry & Mary (Lorts) Krewson. He died on January 27, 2012 at his Hillsboro residence at the age of 100.
He is survived by his son: Martin (Karen) Krewson, Jr. of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren: Martin “Buzz” (Kari) Krewson, III, Bill (Jody) Dunn, Jr., Cindy (Steve) Knaup, Scot (Michelle) Dunn, Chris (Cindy) Krewson, Lori (Allen) Boldt, and Kelly Silva; 19 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Norma L. (Hartznagel) Krewson; and siblings, Jacob Krewson, Eunice Poole, Ella Lorts, Ivan Krewson, and Merle Krewson.
He was an electrician for the L and N Railroad and a wax sculptor. He was also know for the pies he baked. His great grandson Bill Dunn III will officiate the service as well as the graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery which is located near St. James, MO.
