Lorraine T. Staab was born October 22, 1926 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa a daughter to Henry and Ethel (nee Davis) Stuckenschneider. She died on June 29, 2013 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 86. She is survived by her daughter: Mary Staab-Bernacki, De Soto; two sons: Dan Staab, Maryland Heights and Tom (Melanie) Staab, Hazelwood; seven grandchildren: Ryan Bernacki, Amy Boone, Rachel Boone, Danielle Staab, Caroline Staab, Nic Staab, and Cory Staab; three great-grandchildren: James Jeffrey Williams, Patrick Williams, and Gavin Snelling; two sisters: Lois Laird, Camdenton and Margie (Ron) Kosydor, Alto Pass, IL; and three brothers: Paul (Linda) Stuckenschneider, La Center, WA, Ed Stuckenschneider, Anna, IL, and Marty (Kathy) Stuckenschneider. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Vernon Jacob Staab, one daughter: Patricia Boone; two sisters: Carol Reynolds and Ruth Brust; and two brothers: Robert Stuckenschneider and John Stuckenschneider. She was a member of the Auxiliary’s of Amvets Post #48 and George Sutton Memorial VFW Post 1831. Rev. Clark Maes will officiate the services.
